The Process
We agree on materials, canvas size and pricing.
I begin working on the piece, according to my own timeline and availability. I do not accept down payments. When the piece is complete, I will reach out to you with photos and a video clip of the piece.
You love the piece—cool. Full payment is accepted prior to delivery. All sales are final but you can take as much time as you need to think about the piece prior to purchase and delivery.
OR…The piece isn’t a good fit. Okay, no problem. No hard feelings. No strings attached. Life is too short for any of that. I have full and complete rights over the piece and may sell it to someone else. You may request one more commission and we’ll go through the process again. Note: I have never had a piece declined, but the goal in offering this option is complete happiness with the finished piece.
A Few More Details
I paint with oil and some mixed-media elements. Paintings are signed (front), stamped (back), and come with a certificate of authenticity.
I generally do not paint the sides, but leave the linen or cotton exposed.
I maintain all rights to the image and may use it for limited edition prints and marketing. That being said, I do not replicate originals with paint and canvas, so your piece will always be unique.
Allow for about 3 months between our final planning conversation and the delivery of your piece.
